We make honest, small batch bourbon. To some goliaths who shall not be named, ‘small batch’ means about 1,400 barrels a day, or enough to get this whole country sozzled in short order. For us, small batch is one and a third barrels a day. This particular batch was two years in the making, or just enough time for those other guys to make a million barrels of their stuff. Which we think works out pretty well, since this bourbon truly is one in a million.
Some of Colorado’s finest offerings were hand-picked for this recipe, including the famed Western Colorado grown sweet corn. Stories about this corn are legendary, and appropriate for what has become Colorado’s first legal bourbon.
Our Colorado straight bourbon is light, aromatic and most importantly, hand-numbered. Our apologies if you see a backward number here and there. Sometimes we write the numbers after we’ve sampled the batch. - Distiller
